20 new sheqalim, 2008. Like BOI B36 b/ P64, but new signature and new date.

Israel new 50-shekel note to be introduced 16.09.2014.

The Bank of Israel intends to introduce the new 50-shekel banknote on 16 September 2014.

50 New Shekels

Portrait: Shaul Tchernichovsky.

Face design: portrait of the poet on the background of a citrus tree with fruits.
Back design: Corinthian style column and lines from Shaul Tchernichovsky’s poem “I believe”.
Feature for the blind: two pair of lines located in the lower margin of the banknote, on the left and right hand sides.
